Getting here

Entry, parking and public transport

Entry

The practice is inside Clifton Hill Chiropractic at 167 Queens Parade. Come in through the main entrance on Queens Parade.

Mondays and Tuesdays there is reception. Let them know you are here to see Nicholas, take a seat in the waiting area, and I will come out at your appointment time.

Fridays there is no reception. Please arrive close to your appointment time rather than early, and I will meet you at the entrance and let you in. If you are running late or cannot get in, call or message and I will come down.

Parking

There is time-limited street parking along the Queens Parade service road directly outside the clinic. Check the signs, as limits vary along the strip.

If those spaces are taken, the side streets running off Queens Parade usually have room within a short walk.

Allow a few extra minutes on your first visit.

Tram

The route 86 tram runs the length of Queens Parade and stops close to the door. From the city, board on Bourke Street and travel toward Bundoora. The trip from the CBD takes around 25 minutes.

Train

Clifton Hill Station is served by the Mernda and Hurstbridge lines and is a short walk away, roughly five minutes. Leave the station, head onto Queens Parade and walk away from Hoddle Street. The clinic is on the northern side of the road.

Accessibility

Before you book

The practice room is on the second floor and is reached by several stairs. There is no lift, so the room is not step-free. If stairs are difficult for you, contact me before booking and we will talk through whether the space will work for you.

If you have any other access needs, mention them when you book and we will make arrangements straightforward on the day.

Common questions

What should I wear?

Most people work in their underwear, as they would for a massage. Some prefer shorts and a singlet or comfortable clothing they can move in. Either is fine, and we work at whatever level you're comfortable with.

It depends on what your structure presents and what you want from the work. Some people come for a single session, some for a short series, some for occasional maintenance. There is no automatic ten-session program, and I'll give you an honest read after the first session.

It shouldn't be something you grit your teeth through. The work can be intense in places, and your feedback guides pace and pressure the whole way. Working within your tolerance gets better results than pushing past it.

Every session is $160 and runs for 60 minutes, first visits included. There are no health fund rebates or concession rates for Rolfing.

Ring or message and come as soon as you can. We will use the time remaining well. This matters most on Fridays, when there is no reception and I meet you at the entrance myself. If you need to reschedule, the booking system lets you do that up to 24 hourse beforehand.

The room is on the second floor with no lift, so contact me before booking and we'll talk honestly about whether the space will work for you.

Booking

New and returning clients are welcome. Appointments are available Monday, Tuesday and Friday and bookings are made online through the usual system.
